The 2009 USITT Conference and Stage Expo was held in Cincinnati, Ohio at the Duke Energy Center (DEC). At the event, the CEO and founder of a design firm co-led a team of amazing architects in collaboration with Omid Saligheh-Rad.
This team was one of the world’s top three best design winners in a major architecture design competition. They were chosen as semi-finalists alongside two other teams from Spain and Poland, which required them to present their design in Ohio, USA. Unfortunately, due to a delay, they were not able to get US visas in time and, without a presentation, placed third in the competition.
Despite this setback, the team remains proud of their work. The organizer of the event, Scott Georgeson, was captured taking a photo with their design, which was shared on the Daily Reporter website.
